New, Ultra-modern Library & Computer Centre At Logara High School

Logara Kwenu! Logara Kwenu! Logara Kwezuonu!

Logara, the land of Peace and Progress, is witnessing a grand, new era of development.

Imaginably the first of its kind in a secondary school anywhere in Nigeria, the exclusive dream of tertiary institutions, an ultra-modern, multi-million Naira complex to house a Library and Computer Centre for Logara High School, is nearing completion.

The following views show it is already on ground – not just earmarked.

Engr James Chinweike Okoro, an illustrious, philanthropic son of Logara from Ndiokwu village, Umuokeada, and his family, conceived the project and has been financing the construction of the complex.

The unassuming, publicity-shy James is reported to have reasoned that, since the West African Examination Council (WAEC) is headed for computer-based examinations in the near future, if nothing is done urgently, Logara youths, most of whom attend school from the villages, will be incapacitated and may be forced to stop schooling for no fault of theirs.

He and his family therefore decided to embark on the mind-boggling edifice to foster education and youths empowerment in their hometown, Logara.
